Annual Flower Show 2015

São Paulo Garden Club

Since 1939, the São Paulo Garden Club organizes annually, a major exhibition of plants and floral art, best known by its captive audience as the Flower Show. All exhibits are divided into horticulture, floral design and special exhibitions.

This year, the Annual Flower Show will be held at the Brazilian British Centre (Rua Ferreira de Araújo, 741) on the 24th and 25th October and is open to the general public.

The São Paulo Garden Club, founded in 1939, is an International English-speaking club whose aims are to share and stimulate interest in horticulture, floral design, environmental and civic responsibility. It has a specialized library and books and magazines may be borrowed by a member through the librarian at General Meetings.

The Club comprises four groups, each of a maximum of 30 (thirty) active members, each group meeting monthly. The whole Club meets at St. Paul`s Cathedral four times a year for General Meetings held in March, May, August and November.

Sadly currently the Garden Club has less than 100 members and welcome prospective members who are expected to attend two consecutive meetings of a Group plus one General Meeting before being proposed to the Executive Council of the Club
